Hi, 20 of us are going on a mission trip to a part of the world from 14th - 26th Oct 2010...where
- drinking water is a problem
- water bottles are no more than disposable plastic bottles, so used that decomposition of the material actually started
- children don't wear shoes, so do some adults
- they will receive with grateful hearts for the old clothings we would usually use as rags or just disposed of into the bins
- a computer would be a dream
- a handphone would be another dream - working models may be re-cycled and sold to raise fund there
- having an extra dollar would be like saving a one day wage...if you can find work
- tooth decay because they can't afford tooth brushes nor tooth pastes; or probably have never been taught about tooth brushing
- lice on the head for they don't wash their hairs (can't afford shampoo or due to lack of water)
- having panadol for headache is a luxury
- and Winter would be treacherous - used Winter clothings would be better than a ride on Resort World Sentosa
She would benefit from the extras that you have.
Would you have nothing than can be useful to this little girl, her brother, or for members of her family?
No shoes.
No hair wash.
No many things we take for granted.
BUT YOU CAN HELP! Here's how ...
Give us your

- old clothings
- handphones you no longer use (but still in working conditions, complete with charger and all)
- old notebook (Desk Top would be a logistic challenge)
- old winter clothings - many of these places experience Winters, i.e. snowing
- shoes, etc
- and of course, for building schools, orphanages, or providing some very basics for the homeless and needy

We thank you for your generosity.
Most of us, living in comfort that are available to us, not having to worry about our next meals, (only concern about what to eat - not about is there anything to eat) - we should count our blessing one by one.
Visit some of these places like India (big cities are great, but close to it in the alley, you will see a different world), Bangla- Desh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Philippines, etc. and we will appreciate all the luxuries we take for granted, and the blessings we often overlook.
